Transmedia artist whose output intersects gender and spirituality, envisioning alternative utopias and monuments portending the technological singularity. Centering an innate desire to document and preserve intimacy and queerness, mixed media entwines history with fiction, and draws consideration to the ephemerality of corporeal spaces. Two- and three-dimensional compositions are collected to reach their saturation point, determined through color, sound, or wear, and are arranged by balance, sentimentality, and nirvanic impulses. Composites pieced together showcase and transform their seams, revealing liminal planes that invite meditation on the impermanence of form, language, and the fluid nature of identity.

Experimental films and videos have been exhibited and screened internationally, including the NADA Art Fair, Miami (2010); the Queens Museum of Art, New York (2009); the Maysles Documentary Center, New York (2009); and the Reina Sofia, Madrid (2006), among other galleries and institutions. Jamie's practice encompasses philanthropic work advancing equity in arts education and the preservation of historic cultural institutions. They’ve previously taught Photography at New York University and supported contemporary artists, art galleries and community-based nonprofits in SF, NYC, and on Maui.
